Terms of service

The service

Rank It For Me reads your website and the services you connect, builds a weekly list of pages to fix, pages to build and questions to answer, writes those pages, and publishes them to your site when you approve. It also checks how AI assistants answer questions about your market.

We change features over time. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we’ll tell you first.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and using Rank It For Me for a business or your own website.
• You sign in with an emailed link or with Google, so anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Keep your email secure, and tell us at hello@rankitforme.com if you think someone else got in.
• You’re responsible for what happens under your account, including by people you give access to.

Sites you add

Add only websites you own or are authorized to manage, and connect only accounts you’re allowed to connect. Adding someone else’s site breaks these terms, and we’ll remove it.

By adding a site, you allow us to read its public pages and, for services you connect, to read and change content on your behalf as these terms describe.

You approve what goes live

We never publish a page or change your site without your approval. When you approve a change, you’re telling us to make it, and you’re responsible for it once it’s live.

Before changing an existing page, we save a copy so you can undo the change from Rank It For Me. Undo restores only the copy we saved, so keep your own backups of your site.

Pages written with AI

We write pages with AI models, check them against the facts you confirm, and flag anything we couldn’t verify. AI can still get things wrong. Read every page before you approve it.

You’re responsible for what you publish: that its claims are true, that it follows the laws and advertising rules that apply to your business, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights. Nothing we write is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

No guaranteed results

Google, Bing and AI assistants decide rankings and answers, and they change how they work without notice. We don’t promise any ranking, traffic, sales or mention in an AI answer.

Click estimates, search volumes and difficulty scores are estimates from third-party data. Use them to decide what to do first.

What you may not do

• Use Rank It For Me for a site or account you don’t control
• Publish content that’s illegal, deceptive or infringing, or spam meant to manipulate search results
• Try to get around plan limits or free-audit limits, for example with throwaway or duplicate accounts
• Probe, overload or break the service, or access data that isn’t yours
• Resell the service, or use it to build a competing product, without our written agreement

Who owns what

Your site, your content and the pages we write for you are yours. To the extent we have any rights in the pages we write for you, we assign them to you. You give us permission to store, process and display your content only to run Rank It For Me for you.

The Rank It For Me name, software and design belong to KAMKR LLC. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Plans, billing and refunds

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Plan and billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
• Each plan includes a number of new pages, page fixes and AI answer checks each billing month. Unused allowances don’t carry over. We never charge for going over: when you reach a limit, you can upgrade or wait for the next month.
• When you change plans, the billing page shows what you’ll pay before you confirm.
• Prices don’t include any sales tax or VAT that may apply.
• If a payment fails, Stripe tries it again over the following weeks, and your plan keeps working meanwhile. If it still fails, your account moves to the free plan. Your sites and drafts stay.
• We’ll email you at least 30 days before a price change that affects you.

Refunds

Payments aren’t refundable as a rule, and we don’t offer a money-back guarantee. If something went wrong, such as a charge you didn’t expect or a problem on our side that stopped you using the service, email hello@rankitforme.com within 30 days of the charge. We review each request case by case. This doesn’t limit any refund rights the law gives you.

The free plan

The free plan includes one site, one site audit and a preview of your list, with limits on how many free audits a site can have. We may change or end the free plan, and we may limit free audits to prevent abuse.

Fair use

Each plan’s scheduled work is sized for normal use of that plan. If an account’s usage goes far beyond that, we may pause its scheduled runs and contact you before they resume.

Services you connect

Google, Shopify, WordPress, Bing, Stripe and the other services you connect belong to other companies. Their terms govern your use of them. We aren’t responsible for their accuracy or availability, or for changes they make to what they let us do.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account from Account at any time. That disconnects your services, cancels your plan straight away and deletes your data, as described in the privacy policy. Pages already published on your site stay there.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. We’ll tell you why, unless the law stops us.

No warranty

Rank It For Me is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its estimates or written pages are accurate or complete.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, KAMKR LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

Some places don’t allow these limits. There, they apply only as far as the law permits.

Indemnification

If your content, your site or your use of Rank It For Me breaks these terms or the law, and someone brings a claim against KAMKR LLC because of it, you agree to cover the cost of dealing with that claim, including reasonable legal fees.

Events outside our control

Neither of us is responsible for failing to perform because of events genuinely outside our control, such as outages at a hosting or network provider, natural disasters, war or government action. This doesn’t excuse paying for service already provided.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we’ll email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Using Rank It For Me after that means you accept them. The date at the top shows the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Orange County, California, and both of us agree to that venue.

The rest

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part today, we can still enforce it later. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and KAMKR LLC about Rank It For Me. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
